Huddersfield-Manchester Stopper this weekend

Does anyone know why the Huddersfield -Manchester stopping service is a bus replacement this weekend? There is no engineering work or disruption mentioned on NRE, journeycheck just shows there are no trains at all (doesn't show replacement buses) but ticket booking is available and journey planners do show rail replacement.

The TRU website says the stopper is running as normal this weekend but it certainly isn't. I think the same happened last week but there was a note about engineering work on NRE then.

Definitely engineering works this weekend despite what the TRU website may say.....

Oh, thanks for that. I guess theres just a bit of miscommunication leading to these not going up on NRE. It's not the first time I've been caught out by the "running as normal" message on the TRU website as I had got used to checking that in the first instance.

Now I guess even NRE isn't the best place to check!
