How is a mobile BritRail pass delivered?

I will be getting a britrail pass for my trip next month

I figured that a Consecutive pass is delivered by email with a PDF per day.

How is it done with the Flexi? I can't find an app so I think the process is dependant on which retailer is chosen.

Looking at the FAQs on the BritRail website, they send you a link and you have to choose your travel dates in advance. You then get sent a standard GB rail format e-ticket for each day, with the addition of your country of residence and passport number.

If you want the flexibility to choose the dates you want to use the pass once you get to the UK, you'll need to opt for a traditional paper ticket.

Consecutive M-Pass is just a single PDF for the full duration, or it was the time I used one. If the flexi requires all days to be declared in advance then it is a pretty rubbish implementation.

I haven't used Britrail since 2020 as it is now considerably more expensive than a Global Interrail pass for an equivalent period, just without the validity in 30 odd other countries..

If you're getting a flexi pass then get the Global Interrail, as it is quite a bit cheaper.

The consecutive Britrail pass comes as one PDF with the start and end date listed on it. Once you've bought it you'll be sent a link where you put your travel dates and your passport details in; these are then shown on the PDF which is generated.

I've not done a flexi Britrail so can't help on that.

(Edited: I originally said Global Interrail. You couldn't for a bit, but it looks like you can once again get a GB-only Interrail pass, which is cheaper again).

Just to update this, it seems I was in error and you can activate Flexi m-passes one day at a time.
