Help with Mk1 coach.

I have dug out an old print of a MK1 coach that I saw around 15 -20 years ago but I would like to know more about it.

I think it was a courier vehicle or something similar. It was numbered 889301 and had the type designation VXX. I think this may be numbered in the departmental series.

Can anyone shed any light on it or point me somewhere that I may be able to find out more?

I have Keith Parkin's British Railways Mark 1 coaches book but nothing in there.

Yes, it was converted into a bullion van.

It's at the Northampton and Lamport Railway.
