Help regarding Friday 30 March

Hi Folks

On Friday 30 March I was at Tamworth, however I need help in the ID'ing of a couple of workings

1) 47810 passed through with 43169, 43024 and 43197. I'm guessing this was 5Z45 Brush Loughborough - Bristol but not 100% sure

2) 47840 came through about an hour or so later with a rake of refurbished FGW coaches. I think this was 5Z66 Derby Litchurch Lane - ????


Any help/confirmation on the ID's will be greatly appreciated

Correct.

5Z66 15:15 Derby Litchurch Lane - Laira.

No, went to St Phillips Marsh & Landore, left Brush Loughborough at 14.25, not Derby. We are just getting coaching stock at the mo. Power cars come from Brush Loughborough, coaching stock from Bombardier Derby.

Coaches don't go to SPM.

It's Laira or Landore and in most cases Laira. Most rakes seem to be assigned to Laira

'Cotswold 47810 collected three fully refurbished powercars Nos. 43024, 43169 and 43197 from Brush Loughborough, departing at 14.25 bound for Bristol and Landore (formed with barrier car 6339).'

'GBRf 47840 has collected another rake of refurbished FGW MK3s from Bombardier Derby for delivery to Laira. The train departed Derby at 16.30 as 5Z66 formed of 47840, 9488, refurbished Nos. 41045, 42175, 42176, 42177, 42211, 41059, 44081 and 6724. This will be the third delivered set to FGW but to date only one set is in traffic.'

Coaching stock does not come from Brush Loughborough, power cars do not come from Bombardier Derby.

P.S. As stated above, 3 coaching sets are ready so far, 1 in service, 2 are in sidings next to main line going past Laira depot.

What in hells name are they going to do with 3 powercars at Bristol Parkway?

Not a clue, but it was going there.

Then surely you know refurb power cars come from Brush Loughborough, & coaching stock from Bombardier Derby, or have you not done your homework??? lol :tongue:
