I have recently just applied to GWR for a Paddington Gateline Assistant staff vacancy, and have thankfully passed the online SJT so far. The vacancy (number 029466) stopped advertising after around 2 days, and the description stated interviews will be on the 28th and 29th of October for a Competency-Based Interview. Now is also a good time to mention I am a baby in the railway industry, and want to kickstart my career with GWR, but have no idea what to expect in the CBI or how to prepare effectively for it. Please drop your comments and advice below, as so far I know the core knowledge about the company and come from volunteering in a safety-critical background for a local mosque managing car parks.
