GWR fares increase

Hi,

Just bought a ticket from Twyford to Paddington and the fare has gone up. Does anyone know why there's a fair increase in September

BRFares shows that off-peak fares from Twyford (and other GWR stations) to London have gone up with effect from 15 September.

Off-peak day return - not via Reading - £19.60 to £20.20 - 3.1%
Off-peak day return - via Reading - £25.20 to £26.00 - 3.2%

Off-peak day travelcard - not via Reading - £26.10 to £26.90 - 3.1%
Off-peak day travelcard - via Reading - £31.90 to £32.90 - 3.1%

It was an off peak day return up from 19.60 to 20.20. I was surprised as I hadn't seen any publicity about it
