Hi all. Wondering anyone knows anything. What started with OHLE issues on Line 4 and 5 at Ladbroke Grove seems to have turned into complete standstill.

Currently at Twyford and slightly bemused by the dual block of Dn Slow and Dn Relief at Maidenhead

A freight train has failed across the station throat at Reading*. 1C12 has been at a stand at Slough with doors released for over an hour, presumably waiting for it to clear. Impressed with the Elizabeth Line though - still running to Maidenhead reasonably reliably, so I'm only three minutes late home!

Additionally a freight train has failed outside of Reading station, causing further disruption to journeys. All trains currently cannot run between London Paddington to Reading until freight train has moved.

No Didcots at Slough earlier but EL running to Reading. No Newbury service from Paddington but locals from Reading were ok. A failure in the Pewsey area delaying the Paignton service. OHLE damage getting the blame on Reading announcements (not applied to Pewsey of course).

"A freight train has failed just East of Reading station and blocked all lines. We are unable to (run) services between London Paddington and Reading until the freight train has been rescued."

Unrelated to the catenary fail further east.

Bit of variety in the daily litany of reasons the GWML between Reading and London is fubar I suppose.
