I'm guessing the WCML- more specifically the 401 miles between London Euston to Glasgow Central.

Apologies for late reply, but question 3, which is the only island linked to mainline by rail, well there are 4, Isle of Sheppey (Queenborough, Sheerness-on-ConcreteWall), Isle of Anglesey (Valley, Rhosneigr, Ty Croes, Bodorgan, Llanfairpwll PG), Holy Island (Holyhead) and Portsea Island (Hilsea, Fratton, Portsmouth and Southsea, and Portsmouth Harbour)

If i'm allowed next question, which two Isles were connected by rail, yet needed no bridge, tunnel or causeway to access them?
