Greater Anglia Weekend Return Tottenham Hale

GA's flexible weekend return (or is it weekender return?) tickets are great. They're advertised as

valid from London Liverpool Street, Stratford and Tottenham Hale to any of [...]

But no retailer will sell me one if I input my journey starting from Tottenham Hale or Stratford, even though they exist in the database! The tickets from Liverpool Street are the same price, and I can't find anything that says break of journey is not allowed, so I think one from LST to, say, Cambridge, is valid to start from Tottenham Hale, but you still have to pretend to the journey planner you're going from LST. And if you want to go from Tottenham Hale to anywhere in East Anglia, or conversely from Stratford to West Anglia, as far as I can tell, you're stuck! Is what I've written here correct, and if so do you think this is a mistake that GA will correct?

Do note that the Tottenham Hale -> Cambridge WKF appears to have a different route code (VIA LONDON vs NOT VIA LONDON) for the ticket allowing departures on a Friday than the one allowing departures on a Saturday. I'm not really sure why this is the case.

Ah ok, the problem as I described appears to only exist for departing on a Friday. This probably is because of the route code - are there any valid GA-only routes from Tottenham Hale to Cambridge "via London"?
