So today I was planning on travelling on the 0936 from Liverpool Street to visit Beaulieu Park. Due to the disruption, this train was cancelled so the next one was the 0902 which actually left at 0959. When we reached Shenfield and were told we would be there until further notice, I decided to simply abandon as nothing was moving and get the next train back to Liverpool Street. As I did not reach my destination, will I be eligible for Delay repay? I'm assuming I would but I'm slightly worried about the fact that I had an off peak ticket and travelled on a train scheduled to depart in the peak that actually departed after the peak, as it was the next train running. Also, by the time I got to Liverpool Street the first time, the next train I could select when buying my ticket was the 1036 - does this matter as it was not an advance single?
