Goole - Old Dalby Moves

Hi,

Does anyone know when these are due to take place? I've had a look this week and there doesn't appear to be any. Is there anyway of knowing if they will happen in advance (apart from RTT)?

They have been running every 2-3 weeks recently, but rarely on the same day of the week.

The last four runs have been on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, so perhaps
the next train will be on a Saturday or Monday?!

Schedules for the most recent underground stock move on September 18th didn't appear until a couple of days before it ran, which seems to be common.
That move is mentioned in this post (plus link to video of shunting at Old Dalby) although I didn't know about it until after it ran...

Best bet is to do a regular check for STP movements to or from "Goole Glassworks GBRF," either on RTT or using the "STP outlook" function on Rail record for this location. The barrier wagons will usually come from Doncaster Down Decoy. In addition to Old Dalby, there can also be movements to and from Gascoigne Wood (Gascoigne Wood Sdgs GBRF). Any moves conveying underground stock will have an X headcode.

Thanks for the responses guys. I have noticed a few moves in the system now, one for tomorrow (24/09) taking a unit from Gascoigne Wood back to Goole, the wagons start at Hexthorpe vice Doncaster. After this move, the wagons return to Hexthorpe only to return to Goole on Friday - there are no planned moves after this?

Thanks for the heads up - I'd like to see one of the movements but keep forgetting to check for schedules appearing.

It's quite likely the schedule for Friday's return movement from Goole will get uploaded overnight, so worth checking again tomorrow.

I've also noticed an 0Z22 light engine movement for Friday from Old Dalby to Leicester, so let's hope something runs!

Typically I find that the STPs are uploaded between 9pm and 10pm (usually closer to 9:30, but they can be a bit delayed), just thought that'd be an interesting bit of info.
