How is it going, will they also be marketed as "mallard" or somthing different?

Depends on the new operators of ECML. I think they were to marketed as 'Mallards' because they were getting the same style of refurbishment as the Mk4s.

Have any sets been refurbished yet?

I don't think so, but GNER have got in an extra ex-Virgin set to cover whilst they are away for refurbishment, so I guess it will only be a matter of time :)

The first set is still in Doncaster being done, unsure of its release date but will try finding out after Xmas.
