It's called the Blue Lagoon fish restaurant. Fitted with a rather large extractor fan, at great expense which is not used.

Yes, the both of them seem to never use it. The confines of the underside of the Heilanman's Umbrella makes the one on Argyle Street much worse because the smell doesn't really dissipate. I feel sorry for the staff - I don't think I'd ever get used to the smell.

They obviously need a visit from the Environmental health inspectors. Who probably would not be amused.

You smell it as someone walks past with Blue Lagoon chippy. Mixture of old oil, off fishyness and vinegar. Apart from Merchant chippie up High ST, the City Centre is not good for chippys. Prefer chippys in Fife or Edinburgh.
