Getting onto TOPS or TRUST

Does anyone know how to get onto the system at home?

I've been trying to get onto our company site SWT 'switchon' but I can't get into it at home.

It's on the company Intranet - does that mean that you can't get it on the www?

If its on an intranet you shouldn't be able to no..

Intranets are generally available as extranets if you VPN into the main intranet server, hence creating your own network connection onto the company network.

You just connect to the server which holds the intranet, I don't think SWT provide the ability from home, but I suggest you ask your DSM.

No as it's a restricted piece of kit and not for the Public Domain. Besides it requires the right sort of software to run it which isn't available via the Internet.

TOPs/TRUST is indeed classed as 'company sensitive' information and is not available in the public domain, also as mentioned staff should keep the info confidential and could face disciplinary action for distributing such info.

It is possible to get TRUST/TOPs on a laptop, but the software etc wouldnt be available to any Tom, Dick, Harry or Gurtrude.
