A quick question (I hope) - are these station platform signs at Gatwick Airport, taken on 30 April, examples of the new GBR style, or Network Rail/other?

The station signage mirrors the signage at the airport so they look the same (Yellow font on black).

Heathrow Rail stations (not underground) has the same design language has the airport it serves as well (black font on yellow background).

I think they might be a Gatwick Airport house style? Very similar to the wayfinding signage in the south concourse.

I use Gatwick several times a week, and I've never noticed that sign! I can't even work out which platform it's on. Clearly, I need to go to Specsavers.....

I'm struggling to think how often a 9-car train calls at Gatwick, or why there needs to be a separate stop sign, when the usual 8-10 or whatever isn't considered appropriate.

When a five car meets a four car, or we have three car triplets. The former I have been on, but I concede it wad precovid.
Went through the station an hour or so ago. Forgot to look out for the platform signs :(

Thanks for the replies. The view was taken looking from p1/2 across to 5/6.

Indeed, especially when a genuinely useful 2/3 car stop sign on p0 at Redhill is seemingly beyond the railway's capabilities!
