Game running slow intermittently

Does anyone know what the best way to resolve the game changing from running smoothly to running slowly every 5 seconds or so, and repeating this consistently?

Sounds like it could possibly be a hardware issue with your PC.

What are you system specifications? Are you have issues with any other programs?

Try lowering the graphics spec on the game. Granted it wont be as realistic, but it makes the game more playable

Ye...that's what I had to do. Go onto settings...put everything down a bit, turn a bits off and it worked for me!!!
