The only incident you'll have on a day to day basis with the front seats, is a nice branch going into the nearside window on a too-much-tree section of route. Quite enjoyable seeing some action whilst on a decker travelling at 40-50 mph, even better when the window goes through as I've witnessed that happen twice in the past, needless to say on one occation the driver asked me to stop anyone from going upstairs so that he could run the bus back in service to Huddersfield where he could put it out of service.

I was on a local independent's vehicle yesterday, KV02 URY, an Alexander ALX400 / Dennis Trident. Arriva Northumbria previously ran the route until the 6th July 2014, so no deckers had been along certain roads since then. As the Trident is higher than Arriva's DAF DB250s and other deckers, even on main routes the bus was still hitting the branches. This made me aware of why there was a hole the size of a 50p in the nearside corner upstairs. Even managed to run 10 minutes late without picking anyone up...
