from ealing to egham station

hi,
i would like to know how much would it cost me to make a travel card to catch a rail from richmond rail station to egham rail station. i would also need to catch bus from ealing to richmond and therefore do i need to make a different travel card or can i use the same at the rail travel card?

Egham is outside the travelcard zones. You will need a zone 2-6 travelcard which will cover you for the bus as well. Then you need a boundary zone 6 to Egham ticket, or Feltham to Egham, whichever is cheaper. I'm sure all the trains that stop at Egham also stop at Feltham so there won't be a problem with the train not calling there.

i will be catching the bus from ealing broadway (65). ok, i am bit confuse now, so i will need a zone 2 to 6 travel card and also a zone 6ticket right?

i will commutin regularly... i can also go from feltham, jus wanna know which side will be easier, quicker and cheaper?

Easier is subjective. Different people will have different views on what is easier. Quicker is probably to minimise bus travel (or even eliminate it). Cheaper is probably to maximise bus travel and only take the train from Feltham. Your options are:

1: Season from Egham to Feltham and a bus season ticket.

2: Season from Egham to Travelcard zone 3. This would allow you to travel between Egham and Feltham and then anywhere within zones 3 to 6. You could get the bus from Ealing to Richmond or you could get the tube as mentioned by Oracle. Note that you don't need zone 2 for the journeys you are making, but the day travelcards aren't as flexible as travelcard seasons.

Boundary tickets are single or return journey extensions. Seasons can be bought for unlimited travel between a station outside the zones and the travelcard boundary then anywhere within the zones attached. The cheapest option includes zones 5 and 6 rising up to one including all 6 zones. Obviously there are also options in the north west including zones 7 8 and 9, but that is complicating the issue on this thread somewhat.
