Does anyone have any information on this company? Long gone but I just about remember them from when I was a kid living in the plough. The buses were kept in a long line near my dads pigeon loft, lol. They used to run a 153 Easington Lane - Sunderland route iirc.

Busview gives a "varied" selection of vehicles owned over the years. It could be that your Dads pigeons were faster that some of the older vehicles in the fleet . . . . . . . LOL.

I seem to recall that they ran the 153 with a selection of ex National Bus Leyland Leopards - one might have been a former Ribble WCK-V example?

IIRC, they were bought out by Arriva who continued the 153 until they lost interest - must be about 2000?

Sounds about right. It must have been a daytime only service as there was a flurry of evening peak services that were extended through South Hetton, presumably as they sent the fleet back to the Peterlee depot.
Didn't last very long at all. The 65 South Hetton - Durham transferred to Go around that time too.

Interestingly , Busview gives a date of 8/2019 as ceased trading , albeit with only a few mini-buses.
I didn't think they went that long. Mind I had no need to use the service.
