Forum feature suggestion for 'jargon'

Looks like I was wrong for thinking that this is the type of thread that could go along quite merrily without any bickering.

As Mike395 explained way up in Post 4, we will look into the matter a bit more when we next get an opportunity. Anyone with particularly strong feelings and suggestions about such a functionality of the forum please feel free to get in touch, especially if there is any particular reason not already covered in this thread so far.

The one that bugs me the most is head codes - you can at least have a guess at station codes and other acronyms/abbreviations given the context but something like "I'm on 9S80 waiting at Wigan with no progress anticipated for a bit." means naff all to most people.

For now, I can only suggest that navigating onto the RTT site and using the search box would probably be the quickest way of making sense of it.
