both the above to buses are in Reserve rather then withdrawn i think the difference is reserve means still taxed and withdrawn expried tax

Can I just ask what the remaining old fleet is in Manchester now?

ones i know of is some of the Bury citros 40313 is withdrawn, 40403 was scarpped a couple of months back 60405 is DDA now but not sure on seating

allocation changes though this week have seen streetlite maxs 63117/18/53/55 move from Rusholme to Oldham with B7 single decks move to Queens Rd from Oldham also new guidebus way buses 39257 to 61 are parked up at Bolton ready for when new service V3 starts

Any ideas as to whether the current 60 reg Versas/solos for the Metro shuttle services will be replaced this year? They're going to be 7 years old this year, so are they likely to stick around?

The contract is due for renewal in 2018 but does have an option to finish one year early and I presume the contract renewal will form the basis for any decision making on replacing the vehicles. In any event the electric vehicles used on the contract will only be three years old this year and so unless they are very unreliable I cannot see any justification to replace these. I suppose the condition of the other vehicles will be the deciding factor but like everywhere money is short. As an aside TfGM (Transport for Greater Manchester) have just extended their partnership with Optare so whenever new vehicles go on the shuttle expect more Optare.

Tamesides depot 40326 has now been withdrawn leaving there 40327/29/30/33/35 i think the 353 and 354 services are up for Tender in April
