Hot Fuzz

Simon Pegg and Nick Frost discover that their Travellers Fare toastie is probably a few weeks out of date, given the amount of furry mould growing on top of it.

Village of the Damned....the residents of Fenny Stratford wake-up one morning to find that their train service has disappeared. After a-year-and-a-half of hit-and-miss rail replacement buses, some mysterious trains with Manchester accents turn-up out of the blue and promise to take them to work and school again. There is great rejoicing in the village....but after a few weeks half the trains are cancelled. Then the evil wizard Ewr storms in and tells them that he's going to close their station anyway. There is much wailing and gnashing of teeth....and the village elders cry "We're all doomed!"

The Hunger Games.

A famished family push through the Super Voyager carriages, crammed with people & baggage; only to discover the snacks vending machine is empty.
Then, at every station stop, they fruitlessly try to force out of the train doors, to the station shop and back to the train. It's all in vain.
Four hours later, their hunger-wracked bodies tumble off the train - to discover that their final 30 miles will be sat on a rail replacement bus.
