Passed Laira depot today at 3.30pm and saw 43181 on a low loader parked outside the depot on the main road blocking one carriageway of the citys main eastward bound dual carriageway waiting to depart.It was causing traffic chaos all the way back to the city centre.I was amazed they let it out at such a busy time.

Not content with delaying rail passengers in the west, FGW set about holding up road users as well :razz:.

It's constantly busy throughout the day along Embankment Road. It can take a while for someone to come out of the depot, be it deliveries, bogies, stock etc., most of the time traffic won't slow down or stop for you, so you just have to wait for a brief gap in the traffic, & go for it. With reguards to the truck, must have had a problem, as usually leave around morning or lunchtime.
