Hey all.

I've just booked two tickets for a friend and myself to travel from London Paddington to Exeter St David's in March. I'm slightly confused on the seats it's issued to me, Coach B 56 and 60.

As the preference I selected a table seat but the only seating plan I can find seems to suggest Coach B doesn't even have a seat 60, and if it does they're not together. Can anyone help please?

The only seating plan I've been able to find is this.

Thanks.

The seating plan you have found is very out of date. It appears to be from prior to the refurb that FGW carried out on their MkIII fleet.

Attached are a couple of up to date seating plans. No matter whether you are booked on a High or Low Density set, as you can see that your booked seats in Coach B are indeed at a table. As a bonus you also have the two seats next to the window.

If your booked train is in correct formation then seat 56 will be facing, with seat 60 back, to direction of travel.

No they arent together. Which service is in question?

yes they are, 55 and 56 are one side of table, with 59 and 60 the other side of the table, facing each other, so your both sat on the window side of the same table, one forward and one back facing, 57 and 58 are airline style seats on opposite side of carriage. see the above seat plans that have been posted,
