Good to know that they've taken some steps here. I use some football 'forums' of sorts and the fans were fuming at the ridiculous timing of the game. Unfortunately TV Money talks in football.

Any ideas what stock will be used - a pendolino? Similar trips chartered by Chelsea were previously pretendolino + 86259 Les Ross but Virgin obviously don't have that option any more.

When we got to the FA Final in 2011, City's supporter travel provides Thomas Cook Sport booked two Pendolinos. Both were additional private services outside of the normal timetable.

I'm also aware that since then several other clubs have made use of the Pretendolino. Assuming it's still serviceable, Arsenal may well be using that again?

They could I suppose have managed to get Pendolinos, given it's quite late and a few units will have finished their normal rostered turns by that time.

The Pretendolino has been withdrawn from service with Virgin and is now being adapted for use with Greater Anglia.
