I was rather amused to see that the councils masterplan for the city centre features trams, in the artists impressions at least. In the background of one impression is a Citadis tram from Bordeaux - given that there is no OHLE could they be considering APS?!

I very much doubt any of this will happen of course....

Where are these plans? As fas as I'm aware, there's plans for a rapid bus between the City Centre and the new Cranbrook development, and potentially a couple of new railway stations, but no trams.

The picture with the tram was on the front page of the Express and Echo - as usual the website features nothing
