Hi all, are the Eurostar e300's still being used or planned to be used? I heard they were using the e320's solidly during the pandemic.

The only passenger use of them is on the Izy service between Paris and Brussels. The e300 sets have been appearing on this as well as the dedicated Izy set, presumably to keep the sets in working order. The only workings of the sets in the UK currently are empty workings to/from Temple Mills, for crew retention and to rotate the sets between Temple Mills and Le Landy.

I am not aware of any firm plans to return the sets to service, though Eurostar must presumably have some sort of plan for them, otherwise they'd likely have got rid of the sets by now.

Ahh okay thanks for the response! I suppose as they look to start upping the service they'll likely need them again?

Are they using the full 20-car sets on Izy then?
Yes indeed the full length twenty coach sets are being used on IZY services. They have not been shortened. Both the IZY liveried unit and all of the Eurostar liveried ones that have recently been used on IZY services are still twenty coaches long.
