Can anyone on here remember why the EPS dips to 115 through Norton Bridge (Fast Lines)? I've got a feeling it was to do with the old junction layout?

It needed land take to get 125mph apparently.A report I've seen is blaming the (at the time) potential HOTF.
Given the restricted profile of the trains, is HOTF a problem? Also through Norton bridge there is scope for realining the tracks given the reduction from 4 to three since the Down Slow has been rerouted perhaps? It needed land take to get 125mph apparently.
