Editing Experiments

Been experimenting with Photoshop this afternoon and am planning on using it to edit my photos as it has an adjustable Sharpen filter which I don't think Fireworks has. Here are two images, please tell me what you think, how they could be improved and most importantly, do they look oversharpened.




Unfortunately I got a little carried away on the second photo, but you get the general idea.

First Shot - tiny bit more sharpness

In terms of sharpening, both look fine to me.

I also like the composition of both. However, in photo 2 I suggest you try using the feature in Photoshop that lets you correct the camera distortion to avoid the leaning tower of Pisa look.

OOI, the front of the 321 looks remarkably free of squat flies; was it like that in the orginal image or have they been removed by use of a smooth/sharpen filter?

The original image was as clean! Maybe Silverlink had some time to tart up their stock before it gets passed on to London Midland/one.
