I am CERTAIN -- and photos confirm it was Treviso -- that I flew from Venice to London Gatwick with easyJet (it was DEFINITELY easyJet) on a school trip in 2018.

According to several Google Searches though, easyJet have never flown to Treviso. That has got to be wrong. I'm certain it was not Marco Polo Airport.

Can someone please assure me I'm not going mad and that easyJet did have Gatwick-Treviso flights in 2018?

Could you have flown from Verona?

It was definitely Treviso. I recognised where I got food from images, the distinctive boxy staircase.
I can't find any record of Easyjet having operated there. It isn't really their sort of airport either. Are you sure it isn't a conflated memory and you flew Ryanair?

Could there have been a planned diversion due to airport works or strikes, for a short period of time.

If that were the case someone would have taken pictures of such a rare event; nothing at all on airliners.net or any other similar site.

Charter flight?

EasyJet operate charter flights here and there, especially in the winter to ski destinations. They did it this winter from IOM to Italy. If it was a school trip with one of the specialist school trip organisers it'd be more likely to be a charter.

Here's a photo of EasyJet in Treviso in 2013: https://www.planespotters.net/photo/386469/g-ezew-easyjet-airbus-a319-111
