I booked some EasyJet flights through Lastminute with cabin baggage only. I have now completed the online checkin for the flights and have the PDF boarding passes.

Is it still possible to add hold baggage online at this stage i.e. before setting off for the airport? I can't see an option to add bags anywhere on the 'Manage my booking' section.

TIA!

I think I read or heard form someone else who had the same problem, and it was not possible to add hold bags after on line check in. I'm happy to be corrected by more knowledgeable people, as my memory is a bit vague about what exactly happened.

It's possible to add bags after booking but I don't think it is after check-in, except rather more expensively at the airport.

You can definitely add bags after booking, that much I'm sure of. I don't think it's possible once OLCI has been completed, except in person at the airport. I understand that checking in effectively closes down the manage my booking facility. But as I say, I could well be wrong and talking rubbish.

OK thanks. If I do have to make the payment at the check-in desk (London Gatwick) can I pay for the outward and return legs at the same time?

You can but the price considerably increases. It is known to be cheaper to rebook with a premium airline and get a last minute deal than adding baggage on last minute to an existing easy jet booking.

Adding on they will charge you an increased amount - £60 -80 each way I think from memory depending on destination and you have to pay both legs in one go. I found this previously and a last minute BA return booking was cheaper with inclusive hold bag than the £120-160 easy jet wanted to add a bag on.
