A train hit a person at West Byfleet earlier believe - causing a bit of hell on the SWML this morning.

Problem train was probably 1A14.

I was coming up from Fratton to work in Chertsey this morning (I live in Farnborough - was in Portsmouth for the evening) - so hearing "Could the guard please contact the driver" on the 0710 from Havant wasn't exactly music to my ears!!

Pretty chaotic at Guildford and Woking... debated going Guildford > Ascot > Virginia Water > Chertsey but sat it out at Guildford to go the usual Woking > Weybridge> Chertsey route. The 0710 from Havant was diverted away from Woking.

Pretty much all Pompey direct trains went via Effingham Junction then alternating between Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon and Leatherhead.
