Ill have a 1930s GWR Railcar please.

Failing that, a 2 week 1st Class ALR would be nice.

A Bentley Brooklands for me.

Also, an ex-Barry Merchant Navy + £2 million for restoration, re-air-smoothing and general maintenance!

I'd have:

A BAE Harrier or Sukhoi Su-30
About £50 million for contingencies
A girlfriend
A new Ford Focus or VW Golf
A new PC that can play RailWorks and MSTS without any problems
An AKM assault rifle
An InterRail pass for all of Europe
A 2-week 1st class ALRR
A leather sofa with integrated chiller and massage function
An iPhone or Blackberry
A Challenger 2, Chieftain, T-55/72/90 tank or whatever as a much more destructive alternative to a quadbike:D

I'd really like a Macbook Pro; I'm saving up to buy one next summer. Other than that, an iPhone or Blackberry would be pretty cool; when my contract expires in June I should be able to get one or the other of those.

I want an iPhone, mainly because giving presentations on Keynote (which it has to be said kicks arse, puts Powerpoint to shame and frequently draws audible gasps from the audience) is a right pain when you're walking and talking, then have to dash back to the MacBook to press next. The iPhone has an app that allows you to use it as a remote ;)

I would have a BR Network Southeast livery Class 415 4-EPB and a original SR bullied air smoothed "Merchant Navy" 4-6-2.

Excellent choice with the EPB, I'd,like 1 pre refurbishment (with trojan upholstery and tungsten lighting with a compartment trailer) and 1 post refurbishment with blue-green check and flourescent - and the dosh to run them around the southern now and again :)

Mojo, you and I have such similar problems (I'll pour my heart out on you soon - I'd block my MSN for your own sanity!)

BR Blue & Grey went nice with them aswell but I would like them Network SouthEast design seats,as you said it would be great to see them on the Southern once and a while but sadly we may never see them on the Network again.

Yeah, the EPB Preservation Society's one's probably the most likely to be in full working order but it's all down to whether the Health and Safety police ever allow it out.

I only ever remember seeing one upholstered in Network SouthEast blue zig-zag at Strood once. It seemed like you could find almost every type of post-war Southern moquette in an EPB somewhere.

My christmas list is a bit less ambitous

A Hornby super detailed class 50 in BR blue
oo gauge colour light signals for my model railway.
and no more global warming created by pollution, that would give the media a hard time trying to find another story!

Wish list? Gosh, I'm paralysed with choice!

I guess, in all reality there isn't really much I would want gift wise, like I could do with a new car etc, but they aren't gifts though. I think I would be pretty happy with an Ipod, a few memory cards for my camera and a bigger battery for my video camera.

Mmmm, a range of things come to mind.

Upgrading of Hertford Loop including track and stations, including passing points, 4 tracking where possible and station upgrades ie CIS, lifts etc...
Upgrade and remodelling of Peterborough and Stevenage stations.
Doing a Trent Valley by 4 tracking Huntingdon to Peterborough plus built a parkway station on the outskirts of Peterborough.
Remove the Welwyn bottleneck by building a similar viaduct by the side of the existing one which would also see remodelling between Woolmer Green and Digswell.
317s to be used on weekend services to Welwyn/Stevenage/Hertford, there's only 4 313s on average used on Sundays between Hertford and London so 317s cold easily be used.
Finally winning the winning ticket of a large Lottery payout ie over £20 million.
