Dormy B.R. ticket stamper

Just acquired one of these vintage ticket stampers. Does anyone out there have a manual for it?

Mine came with a photocopied list of route codes which are long lost. IIRC 000 was for standard ticket barriers. I'm trying to remember others but TBH I just carried on using my old punch.

It was over 30 years ago i was issued it,that WR list has long gone.
I think the old Ticket Examiner's Handbook had a complete list. Somebody may still have a copy.

Sorry, I missed this one at the time. There is a flatheaded screw on the back of the 'head' of the stamper (there should indeed be only one flatheaded screw on the entire outer case, this is the one). When you loosen it, it will allow you to pull out the black plastic end cap on the front of the stamper where the ID number (eg RRC 123) is embossed. When you pull this out and fully remove it, you will see it is attached to the stamping apparatus which contains the ink ribbon. You then have access to re-ink it, I would imagine there are instruction videos for reinking these sorts of things on YouTube, just be careful and use appropriate ink and don't leave it swimming otherwise you'll stamp and just end up with ink blotches everywhere.

In case it needs to be said, be careful when removing the stamping apparatus and reinking it, don't put it down on anything which is likely to stain, as it is likely to be inkey.
