Cat saves boy from dog attack in California

A young boy had a lucky escape when a neighbour's dog attacked him while playing on his bike.

The family cat pounced on the dog and chased him off.
Great work from the cat :D

Hopefully they'll find the owner and deal with him/her approoriately. The laws on dogs need to be tightened - far too many attacks occur, and there's not always going to be happy ending <(

Well done that cat, it would be eating prime steak from now on if it was mine.

Who says mans best friend is a dog!

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
It has been on the TV news channels a number of times throughout the day, but the last time showed the injuries that the child sustained. It must have been a very frightening experience for the child.

One report said that the cat had "adopted the family" some time ago and followed them home from the park.

My music teacher showed it to me earlier - it was clearly a premeditated attack from the dog from the way it snook up around the child, but it was the speed that the cat shot out that really surprised me!
