Many thanks. I had assumed it was a rail connected town, as I was thinking of visiting if I ever get round to doing a Cheshire day ranger. But I see it would be Whitchurch, then a bus. Oh well, I might go anyway!

I remember going there about 20 years ago, I’d arrived by canal and was moored up at Grindley Brook locks, Whitchurch and Malpas were not too far apart, about 5 miles I think.
