Hopefully someone will be able to help with this.
Not far from where I stay, there's a disused branchline - namely the Crombie branch and a line that passes through Charlestown. Does anyone know if either has been formally closed?
Does anyone know how a nosy git, such as myself, would gain permission to walk the line (in the case of the Crombie branch) - since it is overgrown and clearly in no state for any traffic to use it?
