On the South Western Railway 22:05 from London Waterloo to Bournemouth (1B73, L78849) today (18th August 2026). We were stopped at Basingstoke normally but they announced that we'd be waiting here due to a disruption. They turned off the track power shortly later and announced that a lady was trespassing on the tracks and they've called the emergency services (not specified which). Just under 30 minutes later we got an announcement that said something along the lines of: "we just escorted the young lady off the train so we're just working on getting the rails re-enegised at the moment. she was actually escorated by an off duty police officer on this train so we'll have to wait for him to get back on before we can leave". Not sure if she intentionally was on the tracks but sounds like she was ok fortunately
