Disabled persons rail card uber

If you can get a 3rd off for a companion/carer travelling with you on the train using a disabled persons rail card on uber trains through the app ,what option do I select for the second person ? Should I select ‘family’ even though there not a family member

You select Disabled Railcard discount for them, the same as you.

Both of you having one doesn't matter if you are travelling together, your railcard entitles you and a companion to the discount.
I've travelled with my sister who has one and no issues with me as the companion.

The disabled passenger holding the railcard is entitled to have up to one discount-receiving companion with them.

The companion can purchase a ticket with the 'Disabled Persons Railcard' discount.

Just be aware that the companion must be travelling alongside the Disabled Persons Railcard holder for the duration of the journey they have discounted tickets for.

I don't know about Uber, but if you select 2 Adults and one Disabled railcard, it'll automatically apply the discount to both anyway.

There is no need to select an option for the second person. You have two adults and one railcard (the Uber interface is asking for the number of railcards you have). Just enter one railcard. The Disabled Adult discount will automatically be applied to both adults.
