Derailment @ Worcester Park.

Anything to do with the landslip they've been clearing up ?

Yes.Single line was in operation due to the landslip.I know because I worked over it once.

Left Worcester Park to proceed up to the possession limit.Found I had to wait there for thirty minutes with punters on board.Driver other end drove it into Worcester Park up road.I then proceeded to Epsom with Pilotman.

Yes was speaking to my trainers at basingstoke about it today, there was a communications break down between the signalman and groundframe operators at worcester park, signalman gave the driver permission to pass signal at danger but points was not set when he was informed they was.

Im sure there was a different way of working this.

Easy to criticise after the incident but unfortunately this seems more common nowadays.

I agree, but there still appear to be far too many incidents occurring due to people being sloppy and not applying the correct procedures.

Unfortunately until computers completly take over (which i dont want) there will be errors after all we are only human mistakes are made.

I travelled to Stoneledge from Wimbledon, I heard there is landslip problem at Worcester Park, I thought it would take few minutes to get to Stoneledge from Worcester Park but I was wrong, train must switch rail which take long time hock: waiting for other train to pass us and then switch the line so I decided to jump off at Worcester Park and walk toward Stoneledge. I arrived 30 mins late!

A friend of mine said that the landslip was cleared up the day before I travelled to Stoneledge but it didn't, suggested it fell over again. . .

You had to wait for the other train because single line working was in operation.
