Hi all,
Got some trains both Hornby and Bachmann and i am only familiar with the 8 pin decoders. Got 142, 150, 158, 56, 47 and 395 and they do not take 8 pin decoders.
Can anyone help me with the decoders please?

All Hornby DCC Ready models take 8 pin decoders, the Bachmann 158 and the old Hornby 142s, 47s and 56s need hard wiring. I imagine the Bachmann 150 is a 21 pin 'socket' (I don't know how they can claim a male connector is a socket!) and you can get both 21 pin decoders and 21 to 8 pin converters from Bachmann. I presume the 395 you have is the Railroad version, which might require hard wiring.
