I'm on the Copenhagen to Hamburg diesel ICE train :) Very nice it is too! If you close your eyes, you could be on a XC Voyager. That's where the similarities stop! This train is superior to all on our networks in the UK. Is it the same manufacturer as a Voyager? What other routes to diesel ICEs cover?

Also, in Denmark I have seen some black 67-esque locos. Again, close your eyes and they could sound like a UK 67!

The ICE-TD was built by Siemens, but have the same QSK-19 engines as the Voyager and Adelantes, however rather like the 180s they were not the most reliable and their high fuel consumption is an issue (trains pay fuel duty in Germany)

which is why they are only used between germany and denmark, the trains are refuelled in Copenhagen as the fuel duty is much less
