Cumfybus expansion

I've noticed a lot of former Maytree Travel routes around Bolton and Wigan have been registered by Cumfybus with a July start date with the likes of Stagecoach and South Lancs Travel withdrawing their services on the former Maytree routes.

Cumfy are advertising vacancies for drivers for a new depot in Bolton.

I don't know much about the former Maytree routes, but are these tendered routes that have been registered? All their work around Preston is subsidised, as are the majority of their Merseyside routes. With First being dominant around Bolton, I can't see many opportunities for expanding on a commercial basis around there.

Yes mostly tendered routes, Stagecoach picked up the emergency tenders when Maytree folded but looks like Cumfy has picked them up long term.

Great news for Cumfybus. Easily the best operator in Preston and deserve to pick up these routes.
OT: Do they only have Optare Solos?
