Cross City South Timetable

I understand that 5 mins to get from Redditch to Alvechurch is as it is in real life, but I cannot for the life of me make it there within 5 mins!

I usually hit the timetabled arrival time at Alvechurch as I'm slowing for the 20mph PSR just outside of the station.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to run from Redditch to Alvechurch within the timetabled 5mins and staying within the speed limits? Because I'm beginning to think it's not!

I know an LM driver and I'm sure he told me that in real life, that PSR is no longer there!!!!

I've always wondered myself how you can drive that stretch in 5 minutes on BVE4, but stupidly never had the sense to compare it to the real timetable, which may have made me realise that the PSR doesn't exisit in real life anymore.
