Number 6 is an absolute cracker, but ....

As the person who took number 3 has tried something different, while it hasn't quite come out as they wanted, credit has to go to them for at least trying, so accordingly, that's where my vote goes this week.

I agree that 3 and 6 are the best shots in my opinion, but I won't post on here how I voted.

I always look at the pictures, vote, and then look at the comments left here, others' opinions does not sway me then...

I've always thought the thread comments quite inconsistent with the way the poll results are hidden until voting is over. I think ideally it would be possible to give a comment with your vote, and for the comments to be revealed when the results are, but I have no idea how hard that would be to implement.

I've also just noticed that entry 1 (I haven't checked the other entries) is 2048x1150 - well over the 1024x768 permitted by the rules. Ho hum.

Thanks
Ian

If you look at the others, only one of the 8 is under 1024x768

To be honest, I have found the forum doesn't tend to enforce the limit so I have stopped reducing them so much, just reducing them a bit to prevent the file size being huge

#1 & #7 catch my interest althoght 6 is indeed a belting shot with atmosphere. 1 was good but owner failed to make any comments so I go for #7, good shot well placed and with the Alstom logo in view......!

I like number two but I feel that it suffers from not including the whole train.Number three could be almost anywhere,so doesn't say "Virgin West Coast" to me.
So,my vote has gone to one of the others.

Thanks to the people who voted for my shot :)

Also, as I'm sure will have been noticed, the unit that is London bound was 390034 - it hasn't become a Class 39 :P
