This is probably the most suited subject for me to enter, so naturally I have to go through some kind of eliminating process to get one picture to upload. The problem is I tried uploading a picture and I had no luck, there must be something I am doing wrong, can anyone help out? Thanks!

Well, neither upload method worked for me. I have been unsuccessful before but this time and previously I have had no luck. Not sure why though.

Can you detail the problem you are having when you try to upload? There is a maximum upload limit of 5120KB (5MB) so try resizing or compressing if it fails.

I've also had a problem uploading, the file is less than 4MB, and the message I get is:

The height and or width of the uploaded picture is more than that allowed by the gallery config.

I would assume there is also a height/width limit, although it isn't mention as far as I can see. Anyone know what these limits are?

I had trouble, but I think its cos the picture I wanted to upload was a bit big, but thanks to Mojo It worked.

I may be sitting this one out as I don't really 'do' foreign train trips, not for photographs anyway. I do have some, but nothing lineside.

It does make you wonder about the topic title. Perhaps trains outside the British Isles would have been more appropriate. After all, Aussie Rail's going to enter something not foreign to them, as opposed to all the foreign stuff they usually see week in week out.

Or even outside Great Britain, as after all even trains in Northern Ireland I'd consider to be "foreign" as they fall outside our normal numbering system, are a different gauge, etc. even though NI is part of the UK.

This is a British board and thus anything outside of Britain is "Foreign". That was my thinking.

Not running in Britain. The first post specifies that the photo must be from abroad.
