Hi All,

I wasn't to sure where to put this question so please move if need be :)

On the bottom of LUL issued tickets is a set of coloured triangles: (example)

I notice that these vary but I haven't been able to pin point what the meaning is... is anyone able to help me solve this?

If so - is there a list of what the different colours mean?

Thanks in Advance

Which area the ticket is issued from.

5 ares, North, East, South, West, and Central.

Central is no triangles, North is Red, East is Green (IIRC), South is Blue (IIRC), West is Yellow (IIRC).

It was originally to see if a ticket was valid where you are... eg, a weekly Z56 issued in south London exiting at Edgware, would raise questions.
