Split from the Class 365 discussion:

Or that 313 test unit they already have for initial tests? Presumably the 717 fleet came with ETCS fitted as new?.
I'm not sure if 313121 will be compatible with the Moorgate ETCS installation. But it looks like a 717 has been successfully operated in ETCS mode:

Great news for Govia Thameslink Railway as one of its Great Northern Moorgate Class 717 trains has been successfully tested with digital in-cab signalling system ETCS

The unit running the test was 717002 which had an upgraded baseline from the current Class 700 Thameslink ETCS system operating through the Thameslink ‘core’ between St. Pancras and Blackfriars in central London.

Already fitted with ETCS, Govia Thameslink Railways (GTR) Class 717 Moorgate trains had not yet tested the system out on Network Rail infrastructure and across this specification with the Thameslink ‘core’ already featuring ETCS signalling framework which meant that the train could be tested.

I see the class 313 is poised (pan down) at Hornsey. Wasn't its usual residence over at Willesden?

It’s usual residence these days seems to be Eastleigh Works, but it has been doing a fair bit of testing on the Hertford Loop of late.
