Does anyone know why 387/2s are getting the numbers on the front and back squished

I can't see what the issue is here... the unit numbers look fine to me

The only difference I can see here is that there’s no longer a space between the 3rd and 4th digits.

Post a picture of 387.222. You may find there's just enough space on the front...
