Hi All. New here and I've quite a specific first question!

Does anyone have any details of the rated output (voltage and current) of the Class 37 generator? I assume it's a DC generator and not some kind of inverted AC type and it would be associated with one of the current Colas fleet, although at this time I don't have the specific details.

I'm unfamiliar with the arrangement in the Class 37, hence my question. Anyone with any experience of performing an electrical load test on one, I'd love to hear from!

Thanks in advance.

Refurbished locos have an Alternator replacing the original main generator.

The original main generators were rated at 1105kW. Don't have a figure for voltage or current sorry.
